🥲 I thought I was going to make it through this book without crying but I was WRONG 😭

The fact that the Federation is Japan, and this book just made a reference to comfort women just fucking destroys me. Like I’m crying, I have no words. My great-grandfather was taken by the Japanese, and this book stings.

Pretty sure the main character is neurodivergent, maybe autistic?

My situation with the English department and my abuser was vastly different than this book, but I’m still so uncomfortable with how deeply this resonates with me.
