Wholesome! There are many parts that wasn't show in the movie was explain clearly in the books. I began to understand why Sirius had to do what he did, why Snape always 'snapped' at Harry and Sirius (or even James) and got to read wayyy many things Lupin got to teach in Defense Against the Dark Arts.
