I am thoroughly enjoying this book. I love her attitude about her age and starting over. It resonates with me because at 49, I lost my job after 18 and a half years due to " we are going in a different direction." I just wish that I could see supernaturals

The ending of chapter six was very clever

Listening to Audiobook. This book contains some early 21st century ideas, habits, assumptions, & language. Definitely written before Queer Eye taught us to be better. Ignore the lack of PC during a few middle chapters and keep reading

This book progresses very slowly

The first hour of this Audiobook and I am really disliking Kate's abuse of power. Is she that bored with retired life? Curious on how she continues

Good start. I was quite annoyed with Liv about midway into the book. The was brash, rude, knew very little about the world she was born into. Ot qas as if she was being deliberately foolish.By the book's end, I understood just how lonely she had been living without her magic. I look forward to the next book.

Liv is a bit on the dumb side. She re-enters the magical world and insults every creature she encounters. At the same time she wants to be known as fair and non-judgmental

Two and a half hours remaining and I am still missing the satire. I am convinced that the estranged husband was a selfish jerk who should have talked to Dana. Instead he wanted her to feel his unhappiness with his life through their zodiac bonds. And I hope my sister chases after me if i start mixing compulsive behaviors with isolated retreat locations.
