Finally solved ONE of the riddle portals.. it was a link to a song 💜💜💜

I've just been reading through without attempting any of the riddles/puzzles, this time around. I'll have to go back and figure them out when I finish!

I'm reading an ebook version, so the page count is different, but I think I'm about 1/3-1/2 way through.. So far, I don't like the main character. But the land of the Dead is interesting and I was NOT expecting that twist!

Past the halfway point thoughts: 1) all I can picture in my head when reading of Vortalis is Mark Sheppard. The only voice I can hear in my head when reading Vortalis' dialogue is Mark Sheppard.
2) Part of me was always intrigued by Holland since the first two books, but now I really truly like him a lot and understand him better.
3) I have no idea how this story can possibly end..

..barely cracked this open and I'm already crying. Oh dear...

So far, this book is delivering on everything I was hoping for and more.. I'm SO in love. It's so much better than the first book!!
