I was having fun at first but like… it’s so repetitive let’s get on with the actual point of all this!!

This writer is incredibly detailed! I cannot put this book down. It is consuming my entire life. If you’re looking for a thriller with psychology, twists and turns, and beautiful prose… this is it.

I started this last night and I cannot put it down. The story, the feminine rage spanning centuries and generations, the writing style, the characters… I already know this will be 5 stars.

Literally obsessed and fully convinced

A stark reminder of the dangers of man and their egos. Wanting to anything to have a legacy, gain generational wealth and notoriety, foresight is lost and hindsight hasn’t even begun to settle in.

If you’re an anxious person, tread lightly… this book is beautifully written but will make you consider the world around you in an anxiety inducing way.

This novel is one of the best I’ve read in recent years. The typical naive, distraught, female archetype is dismembered in such a unique way. She addresses the obsession with true crime, reality tv, social media … in such a graceful and interesting way. I cannot put this book down and I wish I was able to teach this to my high school students.

I don't know why this book has gotten such negative feedback. If you're interested in Gilead as a whole and how it became what it was, this book is an amazing source for that. It's especially pertinent to 2022. Many signs and parallels.

Legit cannot put it down. It has ghosts, love, sexual tension, hope, and is so relatable for young women trying to navigate the world and feeling inadequate.
