Slow start, took me a while to get used to the style of writing. But it was actually quite impressive how she played around with narrative perspectives.

I think Becky Chambers is fast becoming one of my all time favourite authors - this book is amazing!

This guy is brilliant - reminds me a lot of Neil Patrick Harris. Some interesting ideas so far.

I'm loving these audio books at the moment, making the walk to work much more fun. Can't believe I've never read Mary Poppins properly before, these are much better than the audio play which was completely different.

Absolutely riveting - a beautifully described guide to the seasons by shepherd James Rebanks. An outstanding voice that really does make you question the plasticity of modern life - a rich and gritty history of one man's family and the land that they've farmed for hundreds of years.

A light and enjoyable novel, I quite enjoyed it although the lead character was way too naive for my liking. I think the fact that the romance side of things was underplayed was actually what really worked for me, it was an added extra instead of the whole thing. The focus being on the sisterhood and their values, which are badly shaken by the murders.

Hmmm, if it'd had this cover I'd never have picked it up! Was expecting something more Jill Mansell and less Mills and Boon

I'm really struggling with this, it's gorgeous visually but it feels like it's lacking something - maybe it's reading on the iPad that's the problem

I've just read this and I do realise that it doesn't really count towards my challenge BUT the book I'm about to start is a "blind" - Hodder have given me a thriller but I have no idea what it's called or who has written it! Am going to use this as a cover for now.

I'm terrified that my expectations are too high.......
