Wondering if this book was written by a child bc it reads like a tweenager’s fan fiction..

Listening to the audiobook and I’m completely obsessed with Elle Fanning’s narration.

I’m going to score this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️ or less because I find “darling” to be an unnatural, jarring term of endearment. And also because I don’t really like this book.

I think I am going to have to DNF this book because I’m not enjoying the POV of a completely intolerable male character. I suffer enough of those kind of men in real life. Reading is supposed to be a joy. This book is not for me at this time of my life.
