Really enjoying the poetic style of this

It’s so good, I’m just so slow at the moment due to work yayyyy

You can tell the author is a good public speaker, this book is very well written

Weird and interesting. Not what I usually read. I find the commentary quite annoying as it breaks up the text, but occasionally useful for translation. So far I have learnt: The best way to win is to break the enemy’s resistance without fighting (the art of not war). If you have to attack, attack before they do, and isolate them from their allies lol

Well I’m about to get on a 2 hour flight and this book is free. We’ll see what it’s like I guess 😅

Anthony Bridgerton you are a despicable man

Judge me all you want 🤣

Better than Dracula

The latest in my quest to read the Apple Books Classics series (because they are free). This one’s a bit shorter and more modern than Dracula so I hope it won’t take me quite as long to read!

Good amount read on the plane (when I had nothing else to do, which shows how much of a drag this has been)

Wow I’m slow at reading at the moment

I’m finding this really interesting and I love that it’s written through diary entries and correspondence. The perspective jumps do make it a bit difficult to follow though, considering that I’m reading this in 5-10 minute bursts on the U-Bahn.

I adore this book, please read it

Pausing Addie La Rue to read this one because it’s on loan from a friend :)

Recommended by Florence 👍

Something has finally happened omg. It’s not written in an interesting way and the casual misogyny in this book is getting to me but at least there is now plot I guess

Yeah this is really not that good is it

Continuing my sidequest of reading the Apple Books Classics series (mainly because they’re free)
