Imagine writing the most insufferable protagonist ever in an autobiographical novel... This book feels like a 19th-century Taxi Driver extended edition and if I wasn't reading this for my course, I would probably DNF it now. Let's see if it gets better...

I am currently reading this book while also watching Miraculous Ladybug Season 4 and I literally cannot tell which one is worse in terms of lack of satisfying progression for the audience. I am literally going insane. Help.

Sooo I started another book

Found this in one of those tiny outdoor libraries (I literally have no clue what they’re called) where you can leave books you no longer need and take books that other people have left. Read the first chapter on the metro and am already hooked !!!!! Am I reading three queer books at the same time? Yes ! Mind your own business pls !!! <3

I have identified the genre of this story and I believe it is an epistolary autofictional (or -biographical?!) conte, or, to put it more simply, a Frederic x Voltaire fanfic written by the man Voltaire himself. I love it.

All I have to say is that I love Qi Rong and that he will always be my comfort character. The worst things will be happening, someone will rip your heart out and then on the next page Qi Rong is just laughing and cursing in caps. Literally carrying me through Black Water Arc every single time. 🫡
