The protagonist is so painfully unlikable in a mundane yet still grating way, makes this book so hard to read.

I can’t believe there’s a goodreads entry for homestuck

Realized halfway through that Audible was skipping chapters, which explained why I could not follow what was happening💀 Restarting so I can give this a fair chance.

I am so invested in this 👁️👄👁️

cozy read so far, but will I finish this by the end of the month 👀

DID NOT FINISH. Many interesting ideas connected disjointedly by fragmented dialogue and an author who reads like he wants so desperately to be seen as quirky and unique.

The last straw was the one-two punch of Anth (our earth) being doomed because of “miserable bad luck” instead of anything compelling, and doubling down on Durga eating a pizza roll because it’s meant to be…funny?

Inexplicably special kid runs away from home in a post-modern world that has regressed to semi-medieval times, where he’s up against an evil overpowered wizard AND there’s an anthropomorphic dog-man?? Is this…The Dark Tower series?

it’s been so long since a book has hooked me in so quickly

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve read about tragedy striking a British couple, where the woman works for a newspaper/magazine and the man is a depressed writer, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t much but still ??
