feels like the novelization of a nettspend biopic directed by harmony korine but for some reason it’s set in 1971. wasn’t really sold on the first few chapters but all the psychedelic descriptions in the second half have been killer

bought this at the used bookstore bc of its cover and the james baldwin blurb on the back. not sure how to feel about it yet but i do tend to love this kind of ‘70s edgelord aesthetic lol
