Wow… so a lot has happened… but also, we’re only just over halfway through the book - what else can even happen?? I’m curious to see if we’ll maintain this momentum without dragging because I feel we’ve finally established all the characters

Already loving the desperate housewives vibe. I feel like I’m here for the gossip and drama

Ngl the motivations of these characters are beyond me. The writing seems to be a bit weird at times. But I’m still happily reading it so…I guess that’s fine

So it’s better written than I thought… is it good? Debatable. Why was it written? Idk. Am I going to keep reading it? …yes…yes I will

Literally stuck for like weeks btw. Nothing bad in particular, it’s just how I read these books apparently. I’ll sit on it

FINALLY shit is happening. Unfortunately, idgaf about the characters enough to feel impacted by it, but I’m determined to finish this damn book. Also, Maeve is annoying me a lil but whatever

So, I’m DEVOURING this book. It’s been awhile since I COULDNT put a book down and stayed up to read it. The twist in the middle of the book got me btw. In hindsight, it was probably super obvious but like, it GOT ME SPEECHLESS. Big fan tho. The pop culture references can get a bit overboard which breaks the immersion for me, but we’ll see how much impact it makes overall

So I’ve learnt to never doubt Ilona. This book is hitting so hard rn

Still yearning for more interest but I don’t care about the characters at all. Also, I can’t believe taking wet socks off is a flirting tactic now

Such a unique world and interesting concept. Bland writing tho and characters are meh so far. A bit too much inner monologue. Looking like a 3 star so far
