Starting my reread for book two!
This book is so under-hyped. Most people didn't realize/understand that the world does not turn causing the sun the constantly be on one side with the other is always darkness. You really have to pay attention at the beginning or the story falls flat. The world building is built on those first few pages and as soon as you grasp that the entire store is beautiful.

The more I read the more I dislike the main characters. They are both insufferable. This book is so hard to get through. I will finish this book but will not be reading anymore of this series.

I'm disappointed. I've read many books by Jennifer but I just couldn't get into this series like everyone else. I feel like it was over hyped.

Is it bad that I hate most of the characters in this series?

I'm trying to read it slowly this time around but man is it hard! I just want to devour it and read it in a day. So much I missed the first time around that I'm picking up on now.

This book is hard to get through. Not because it's bad, but because I waited too long to read it after reading the first one. So I have no idea who any of the characters are. 🫠

Okay I LOVED the first book so much that I finished it this morning and ran to the book store to buy the second one because I just couldn't wait to see how the story unfolds! I'm rooting for Roman and Iris. ❤️

I'm not sure why but I'm having a hard time getting into this book. Maybe because the storyline is too predictable?

The first 30% of this book I was thinking it wasn't scary at all. Now it's starting to make me look over my shoulder. 😅
