This is 31 Robot stories from 1939 to 1977. I'm off to revel in memories as I reread The Complete Robot (not part 1).

Just getting started on this on my Kindle (yay for a giveaway win!) and I may have to remind myself that there are other things to do today. I am intrigued with the characters and the world. It is familiar with the swords and quests, and misfit leader but not generic fantasy.

This is a Goodreads giveaway, so yay for a treat.
So far ... Yes, page 1 and maybe onto page 2, I am cringing a bit. The story is written in a relaxed first person style. The author has the narrator use the word too A LOT. It feels amateurish and uncomfortable.

Definitely a book that has some aging issues but so far a decent read

I don't know what to think about this so far. Strange black parasite. Host doctors. The breakdown of society. The author's brain is so fantastically morbid. I'm loving it

I am vibing with this. It is awkward, but not in a good way.

Vikings? Witches? Werewolves? Gods? All of them? I'm not getting into the world building and character reveal and probably will take a long time to finish.
This is a Goodreads Giveaway that is not exciting me. I am pushing myself to read even a few pages at a time and that is sad when I have a bunch of books that I really want to explore.
So, this will sit.

It's a little confusing so far. Early start of heavy character load and who goes with who matters. It's a little hard to get lost in the book when I have to think. I still like it.

This is a fantasy book that is probably considered YA. I am really enjoying it. The world building is worked into the story well. The character's personality quirks are exposed harshly at times, but it is necessary to keep the story moving.
I will say that the first page had me cringing a bit because of the repeated use of words. I'm over that now. I'm anticipating having to get the second book.

I have never read something like this. I'm trying to figure it out. It's a rough draft, I think. Grammar errors and strange use of punctuation and abbreviations. There is not really dialogue. It is almost like a D&D campaign dictated and shared.
