This is a rare DNF for me.
Long, dull, redundant and pretentious.
I got caught up in the hype and liked the cover.
I can’t rate a book I haven’t finished and will not spend another 6 hours to find out exactly how much I disliked it.

Babel may just end up being my book of the year.

It’s only January 18th and I’m only 150 pages in, but the trajectory of where this book seems to be going, puts it at an easy 5 stars, and in the company of a couple 5 star books already read this year
