So far, I’m intrigued and in love because while it escalated quickly, the first song on the playlist is a Taking Back Sunday song, and also the author kept her annotations in and I LOVE that because it’s something I’ve done before in my own stories.

I kept snort laughing because it was so ridiculous and it read like it was a cute little silly comedy action movie staring The Rock as Peter and as someone who actually loves cheesy action comedy, I was entranced.

But still very confused lol

I have no idea what I expected but for something that read like a fanfic written by a teenager who just threw every trope into the mix, I was actually quite entertained by what was a Dark Mafia Cyberpunk Romance Snow White. Idk why we needed to know every detail of everyone’s outfit. Even the first person POV felt like it was just narration. Interesting premise.

It’s like if the anime Devil is a Part-Timer was also some kind of mafia adjacent romance and the devils are incubi. (Did I read an ATEEZ fanfic about this? I’m sure I did…🤔)

Either way it’s hilarious. I’m loving the “fish out of water” isekai vibes and the FMC’s parents, too.

The banter between brothers is funny, I love Ares. However the smut seems very sudden and threw me off.

So far, it’s pretty funny/cute. I like the humour. MMC asks FMC what her favorite dinosaur is.

I realise it’s the 4th book, but I found it on sale for $9 CAD and figured I could practice my French skills. So far it’s pretty emotional. Writing is decent though.
