Restarting at 0, I love the beginning so why did I not finish it earlier?

Do you have those books that when you are reading them you stop for a second, look at the words on the page as if they were precious gemstones- something to be a little in awe over?

I better appreciate the usefulness of punctuation now.

Do I keep reading?

Pg 7- “I consume media created almost exclusively by anyone other than cisgender, able-bodied white men.”
… “I’m doing the bare minimum.”

I’m only going to read books by hyper-intelligent women from now on! (Seasonal quartet by Ali Smith next? or Iris Murdoch?)

Page 132- Arthur Russell reference-nice!
Page 145- “Carver and Cheever taught there at the same time in the ‘70s.”- self promotion?
So far very enjoyable!

The rapid-fire density is insane. An information-age attention-reducing debut (written 50 years ago!)- I definitely need to revisit more Delillos.
