Are you fucking kidding me? Dude just spilled his soul, told you he was in love with you but couldn't stand the idea of you choosing another person over him, so he couldn't keep being with you, and when he storms out you're all like "boo hoo, no one wants me". Like, WERE YOU EVEN FUCKING LISTENING? Or are you so god-damned self-centered that you didn't hear a word that was coming out of his mouth?!

What a fucking opening, jesus

I got so far in this series, considering this is the last book of the main series, but I just couldn't finish this one... For one very specific reason...

I understand fighting the f***ing bc of adrenaline, and even dominance games where you fight while/before f***ing, but I do not understand blood play. The scene in this book right before I stopped actually made me kinda queasy, and I just couldn't finish.

<spoiler> As little kids Jason and Jack watch Tommy shoot himself in the head, and then get back up. 20 or so years later . Jason upset that Tommy is back rushes into danger, thinking now that he's an adult he can kill Tommy... with a gun... seriously? This makes Jason look like a f-ing moron! Why on on earth would he think that would work?!</spoiler> 

As much as I enjoy this book, I'm getting frustrated with the main character, Paige. For a smart college educated woman, she acts stupid. She keeps playing into the hands of the antagonists, not stopping to think before acting. This is frustrating to no end.

A sad and haunting tale, about PTSD and survivors guilt. Even if she was unaware of why she was spiraling, its l there.

As I continue in this story I keep finding myself getting really angry at Rose. she calls Lissa her best friend, but keeps soooo many secrets from her. I couldn't imagine calling some a best friend and not telling them everything. Especially when it effects that person too.
