I was frustrated with and sympathetic to the mom up until now. The author is transitioning from a deeply flawed person with mental illness who is struggling to live life well to someone who is a bad person and a bad mom. I guess I'll be less sympathetic when we get to the part of the story where Addie finally doesn't live with her anymore. I thought it would be more complex than that.

Is this book boring or is it the narrator? Also, this author is addicted to short chapters. I’m on chapter 72!!!

I feel like this book has barely started. Not because it’s been such a fast read but because nothing has really happened.

I don't mind the narrator, but I really think it's the fault of the audiobook that I'm struggling with this book. I believe I'd like it better if I read it with my own eyes. Although, she's great at the Polish pronunciations.

WHY DO NARRATORS SAY RIFFLING INSTEAD OF RIFLING???

I don’t like when protagonists make huge crazy decisions without consulting anyone else. That’s why I turned my back on Bones.

WELP. This is a LOT more sexual than the other Erin Craig books I've read. Someone remind me not to recommend it to very young teens at the library.

Wish I had the ebook so I could search how many times the author writes that someone's eyes are "watery."

There’s just barely too many characters for me to keep track of. I think there’s 2 boys at this behavioral therapy thing in the woods. But I’m not 100% sure which is which.
