Picked up a lot of *NEW* books lately, but none of them seem to be holding my attention. Its a mood, I think. Not really the books fault. I'm hoping to find that ONE book to break the mood...then I'll devour 10+ books in a row then won't read for days. Weird bookworm habit.

On #Goodreads, I feel like I'm SHOUTING in a REALLY loud crowded room & *not a single person* is listening. Its like every Thanksgiving with my family.

Christmas is over, but the magic carries on.

Soooo many awesome books to read! I don't know where to start! I'm book overwhelmed. It's a good problem to have. ;)

Nitpicking vent: Not a fan of books that are double spaced. The gaps between paragraphs + dialogue seem to interrupt the flow of the story. Like an unnecessary pause. Reading it out loud even sounds weird. It could just be my OCD brain. Most books have indented paragraphs. Now would it keep me from reading a book—Meh. But it makes me grumble nonetheless. End of vent.

In the spirit of 2019, the new me, and all that I should probably use this status thing. I have a lot of feelings. Especially, book feelings. Could be cathartic. Will probably only last a week. Meh. Progress not perfection, am I right? If only it didn't take ten minutes of pointless back spacing-doubting-and-editing this rambly post. Just write it, post it, walk away. Cheers to the new year, new authors & new books!
