What are the major conflicts in the story?
The major conflict in the story is how small Stuart is because it makes him hard to do normal people things. The book says, "Stuart never paid fare on buses, because he wasn't big enough to carry an ordinary dime." The normal job of carrying a dime was even a difficulty for him which makes his size a big issue.

Who? Stuart Little.
What? A mouse living with a human family who has to face the everyday challenges of being small.
When? 1920s
Where? The house of Mr and Mrs. Little.
Why? He is too small to have normal things like clothes so his mom makes him extra small ones.

If I could pick one character to be friends with it would be Huckleberry Finn because he will never tell on you. Page 142, "Don't say a word about it, madam. There's someone else to be thanked more, but he don't allow me to tell his name. We wouldn't have been there if it weren't for him." Even though the character was in a bad situation he was still able to not rat out is friend which I think is a good friend.

Huck has the problem that he knows Injun Joe is going to hurt someone really bad so he has to go warn her. The book says, "He turned and ran until he reached the Welshman's house. He banged at the door." He had to get the attention of the people in the house even though it was late because someone was going to come and harm someone inside.

Tom was acting very scared and he was acting like this because he was trying to steal some treasure with Huck but someone came into the barn and they had to hide. The book says, "Keep still! Don't you move! There coming right towards the door!" He is very scared because people are coming in and he doesn't want to be caught.

Tom Sawyer feels very scared because he testified against Injun Joe in court. The book says, "But his nights were terrors. Injun Joe was in all his dreams." As you can see he felt scared because he thought Injun Joe was gonna come after him.

Tom Sawyer has a problem of his family missing him. The book says, "And he was the best-hearted boy that ever was." As you can see he was missed when he ran away which is a problem because he wanted to stay away.
