Is this a gay romance or a heterosexual fest. But other then the lack of gay its a great book. Tho apparently theres a really gross magic r#p$ seen about to happen so not looking forward to that.

Wtf wtf i started this series cause it was said to be gay but again more creepy heterosexualism. Seregil is forced to have sex with random village women? Ew unnecessary if your writing a gay romance either dont have sexualness at all or make it gay! Everything else is good so far tho

Chapter 2 was short do hope we get to see what seregil is up to on this secret mission tho i know its sometimes easier to not write something then write it and do it badly. But i like multiple povs in boons specialy when the events going on are bigger then just one person.

Wintery opening. But eww that bit with the girl in bed tottally unnecessary aint nobody got time for that. The decipher bit was cool but confusing gibberish. Really annoying in books when the good guys never trust eachother 100% if people comunicated better resolutions would happen faster.

It actualy had the right page count for this book. Great prologue. Tho really wouldnt mind just chapters through out from the view point of the villians and not just the prologue

Modern and forward thinking in a book of a unspecified time... I hate this book reading it is like watching paint dry.

Thoroughly enjoy this book so rereading it I don't get why it gets so much hate it's cliche but I love fantasy so I love fantasy cliches. I think Richard does rush in to quickly as being a hero character but because of who he is and the fact if he was a realistic process of a woods guy going from that to saving the world this book would be well over a thousand pages which isn't a bad thing to me.

Hard to believe someone who never had coffee before is instantly gonna love it.

This book started out soo good then carline almost killed it for me, and its such a slog its just a flat plain of a invasion may or may not happen lets go talk to people about it, there is no apprenticeship at all it lasted a paragraph of the book saying oh you havent progressed much in 14 months but thats ok ima just let you stew a bit and hope magic happen.

Love everything about this book exept beeping carline she can and her self centered manipulative mind games can go die!! She is why i havent picked this book up in months!!!!!! And if this is the thing he ends up with i may not read anymore from this series.

First and last harlen coben. I am sick of democratic writers making conservatives and rebublicans out to be evil incarnate every bad guy in this book is described as conservative. So this guy is going on my no buy list. But thats ok cause the story is a 2 star story anyway. Tho i do find it ironic how many derogatory gay remarks are made towards the gay lawyer. And dont forget every man is a sexual pig.
