This is already ringing heartbreakingly true.

As an avid consumer of self help books, and a fairly lenient reviewer of them, I do not like this one. As an avid consumer of memoirs, I think this should have been a memoir. Maybe I'm just in a minority here, but the "relatable" issues are, to me, clear signs that Robbins needed a personality adjustment far earlier. This book has incredibly capitalist undertones. Don't ask me to explain that yet, still percolating.

Thus far, this reads as someone who believes they were the victim of choices they made. Accountability so far is very "woe is me" so we'll see if this attitude changes...

Started reading this hoping to get a series of interesting book recommendations. The author is so pretentious and conceited that any book she does not like will be my new recommendation. Also, there is a difference between “psychobabble” and people expressing their feelings
