Winding my way into the final chapters of the book and it's been a great ride. Without giving spoilers, the author finds a way to really make each character stand out and make sense, instead of just existing for the purpose of supporting the main character.

I have really come to appreciate this series. The characters are all fleshed out and seem like real people. Real motives, real responses, and real interactions.

I'm about a third of the way through with Arm of the Sphinx, and am a bit surprised by how fast I seem to be going through it. The mix of realistic personalities and fantasy settings really make it a treat to catch the little intricacies within it.

Here we go book two of the Tower of Babel series. The first one was a great world building experience. Watching the growth of the main character was an interesting experience that I hope continues through the arm of the sphinx.
