Though I do have to go back and reread lines quite often, this book does have my heart🙂‍↕️

Okay I know challenging myself is the goal but I’ve realized that when I pick challenging text, I tend to avoid it… lol. Anyways, I love this book but if I lose even 1% of focus, the words simply become a jumble of letters that make no sense… and my focus has been quite short lately…🤦🏻‍♀️ SOS

Loving this. It’s so insightful and eye-opening. Definitely making me reflect on how I walk in faith and interact with others.

Goal in life: to not only read unrealistically massive amounts of literature- but to let it positively influence how I see the world, how I interact with others and form relationships, and increase my intelligence. I want to be… so. smart. Both intellectually and emotionally.🙂‍↕️

Found out today that in the past week, I’ve spent approximately 10 hours and 45 minutes on TikTok… and I am eager to fix that. I will be setting a goal for myself to spend more time in literature than on my phone. Don’t know what that goal looks like in action but will be updating to hold myself accountable.

I LOVE the way he writes. It’s so calming (but it also means I need to lock in a bit more lol).

Bruh.

I can officially say that I am loving this story. Initially, I was struggling to enjoy it but getting deeper into the characters, their perseverance, and the lives they’re working to build has drawn me in.

Beginning to feel a bit more hopeful!! Characters are developinggg, friendships are forminggg, and anticipation is risinggggg!🥹🫶🏼

I didn’t realize how discriminated against Texans, Oklahomans, etc. were by other, more well off places. I guess classist would be the word…? It’s so sad to see that anyone would be viewed as less than but especially disregarding people and families who are struggling so deeply is heartbreaking to see. It’s sad to see that not much has changed today considering large homeless population we still have. :(

I feel like the story is finally picking upppp! It felt sort of stagnant for a moment, and a bit repetitive. But I’m excited to see this change in setting and new opportunities being introduced!

Haven’t actually set aside time to read for the past two days. Hopefully, I can make some more progress tomorrow evening.

Truthfully, it’s time for bed.

FINALLY a glimmer of hope! And I did peak at the next chapter which made my hope diminish… but alas, I want to enjoy this moment of restoration in both my and the character’s faith🙂‍↕️🌾🌧️

This is seriously so good. The plot thickensssss. Crazy conversation and lowkey nervous to see how this “issue”…(?) is resolved. Can’t wait to get back into this!
