I am enjoying reading this, and yes, progress is slow due the fact that I am googling info / fact checking much about Leonard da Vinci and Michelangelo.

As always with CRH novels, her storytelling just draws you in.

For me this has been a heavy read. I read in short bursts and the end of a chapter is a usual place for me to pause. But chapters in this book are long - 90 minutes read time. The text is dense, and often a stream of consciousness noting the minutiae of a situation.

Sadly, not for me. If you are a dog owner, so much of this memoir will ring true, but I'm not, and it is, no surprise, all about the dogs.
