If you are working through the ebb and flow of a long term marriage once you are just two again this book is a wise guide without telling how or when or what it shares their story of why....which I, for one, plan to learn from.

I highly recommend this book if you are at a place in your life when the kids are grown and gone and your old role of wife and support person/family organizer no longer fits. I read this on my Kindle Fire and have many, many highlighted sections to 're-read, ponder and learn from as I grow into my true self.

This is a powerful non-fiction book about a woman traveler who is kidnapped in Somalia.

Creative premise but it felt a bit sloggy at times.

We are listening to this on CD. It is an interesting format, there is no narrative. The book consists solely of letters, meeting notes, emails, etc. between people involved in making a movie about Moses. H Wouk is himself in the book as is his wife. There is much I don't understand because of the Jewish terms and language but it stretches my brain!

I love it when I find a book I really like and then realize there is a series! This happened with P. B. Ryan's Nell Sweeney historical mystery series. They take place in the 1870's-1880's in the Boston area. The characters remain true to themselves even when it isn't easy which is sometimes difficult for an author to construct because they want readers to keep buying their books. I hope you like them too.

Reading this for March book club. Roy, my husband, will love it he is such a movie and tv expert. For me she is writing very reflective of her personality and it is a bit disjointed for me but I am sticking with it.
