It is very rare that I quit reading a book partway through. It wasn’t terrible, but I just had no patience for it anymore. Girl arrives in Paris to discover her brother is missing and attempts to find out what happened. There were way too many instances of breaking into apartments and not getting caught, picking up the exact right book where a paper with a clue falls out… I couldn’t suspend disbelief anymore.
