me asombra como de una página a otra este libro puede, de una manera tan fluida, detallar un recuerdo provocado literal por chorizo y luego acuchillarte el corazón con un duelo

Verdaderamente me está gustando bastante este libro, es tan poético y bonito como lo es ridículo.

didn’t even intend to read through the whole first two chapters in one sitting but even on a reread it’s so hard to put this down. kaz brekker, my angsty, mastermind teenaged old-man, i love you!!

every other poem I am convinced I’ve found my favorite, but “A precious, mouldering pleasure 'tis to meet an antique book,” is so very perfectly romantic bookworm, and thus so very me.

I was nottt expecting the romance to be with a priest, but it’s so telenovela. love.

starting with “this is my letter to the world,” brings a very characteristic joy to my heart. even better, that it’s followed by “I’m nobody, who are you?”

it’s so boy book coded. I couldn’t look past that for the first few chapters, but I kind of enjoy that it seems like the main character is an idiot and his wife is the one who wants a rebellion. I can almost forgive the painfully soulless writing.

ok, it took very long from something feet-kicking cute to happen but Arturo holding back and still needing to plead for her.. the “So stay and talk to me, because if I can’t have more, let me have less.” needed to pause and scream.

ok I think I get it. somewhere in part two I couldn’t stop reading anymore.

One chapter left, and I need to say that there is something really beautiful about the parallel between Heathcliff and Hareton, and the way his anger starts subside when [redacted] happens
