Loads and loads of characters, most of which I find too generic to give a hoot about. Half of them so annoyingly written that I find myself hoping they get spaced at some point.
The premise and the science is kinda interesting, though. It’s just that besides P.Hamilton, N.Stephenson is the most convoluted storyteller in contemporary SF.
