Good Story, thrilling, exciting, intense.

Did a good job of this.

Complex story, with intriging characters intertwined within the plot.

It was slow to begin with, but it has picked up the pace.

Not sure hat impressed. Could be the topic. Education of the Catholic Church and it's atrocities. Good History lesson.

Difficult to follow, old style of writing; use to read these when younger, but now difficult to follow.

Not as interesting as other Philip Kerr, Bernie Gunther novels. Lots of good history bits, but thrill and chase just isn't there this time.

Very good, eye opening. Hard to comment;

Christopher's conversation with the Russian defector Yuri. Though in the beginning Yuri seemed trite about his knowledge of Stutzer, his information went on, about Stutzer for 7 pages, with little or no information about what happened to Paul's mother. She just vanished into the meat grinders of the SS...no pun intended? Could be more to come eh!
