Let´s try reading this again. Idk why i never finished it a few years ago. i just forgot abaout it...
Only 10 pages in and im quit certain holden might be ADHD, he certainly isn´t neurotypical. His thought process when he talks to his teacher, going from thinking if the pond is frozen over, to what happens to the ducks when its frozen, to does someone pick up the ducks in a truck.... That´s that´s just such a mood

I HATE THIS BOOK
when i rate a book five stars it usally means its a book so good i would and want to reread it but this THIS BOOK I NEVER WANT TO REREAD

I know where it´s heading, i know how it will end, i know this story can´t have a happy end, and yet i wish it did, and yet I want it all to turn out well AHHHH!

so Orwell predicted Ai in his Dystopian novel....

There are too many parallels you can draw between this book and the current state of the world....

Pure Horror, truly a depressing Future Orwell is painting.

and yet Winston has hope for the Future...

*CRIES* ahhhhh how can they be this cute.
That climax took some turning did not expect.
But I’m happy about the ending, they deserve their happy end 🥹😭☺️
