The tantalizing details of what happened before this book/events is mildly annoying. There could be another series about Thora and her life at the Inn.

So grateful for two very determined men who worked tirelessly and without recognition to prove the water borne theory of cholera. I am so lucky to have clean drinking water and effective waste removal. Let's work on making these basic human rights accessible to all.

When being a good leader comes to bite you in the bum! Poor Elend! Zane is starting to get into Vin's head, and that worries me, girl does not need to be worrying about anything else right now. Who is the traitor? OreSeur was so funny with his Kandra humor. Love the insight in to Tindwyl.

So many things going on!! When I first met Zane I thought he was a game changer and now he really is crazy! Who is the spy?! THE MIST!!! Just enjoying a great book over here!

I love the snippets of unknown narrative before the chapters. Takes me back to David Eddings and it really adds depth to the story. I want to know more about the enemy assassin. Sazed is so cool. I need more time to read!!!

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I started reading this book. I took the intimate scenes in stride, and then there was twist after twist. I'm not sure if I will read the rest of the series.

I'm a Brandon Sanderson convert. How am I supposed to sleep? What do I do with myself until books 2 and 3 arrive? I love this feeling of awe and wonderment. I will never be the same.

My dear sweet book, forgive me for reading so slowly. I could not bear to think of you alone on my bookshelf so I have bought books 2&3. As much as I put off reading this, worrying that it wouldn't be as good as others said, I am now savoring the book, afraid for it to be over.
