I’m enjoying this “history or progression” of math which has math as its focus but tells a lot of details circulating around the main topic: how Gogel and Einstein end up in Princeton NJ, what some of their quirks were, how other mathematicians made developments such as Turing and a computer and WWW. Holt is a great writer and maintains his inquisitiveness.

Enjoyed this book by Vonnegut. He has a sly irony and tackled topics of religion and science.
