Ok. I hate the nomenclature used here for everything: People, places, charges. WHY MAKE IT SO COMPLICATED?

Also, half the book is filled only by the word "Serenity"

Main character is like an Ebenezer's Scrooge-like man, not very "real" or relatable, let's see how it develops.

Really like how the author creates these small stories to explore on characters that maybe are not fundamental part of the main story line but are interesting enough to provide their own parallel adventures.

This is boring.
I don't care about the patients.
I don't care about the protagonists.
Strong independent woman falls in love and suddenly she can not even be mad at him cuz' he is a genius.

Plot is rushy, no raising action, no conflict so far.
Not sure where this is going.
