I am HOOKED

I'm really enjoying the parallels between past & present.

I’m enjoying the peek into remote Alaskan village life.

As per usual, I'm really enjoying this. Rachel Harrison hasn't done me wrong yet.

I have never really had a book boyfriend before, but I think I have one now. Sebastian, the storm demon

This book is gorgeous. I was invested right from the start and it has been building steadily. So good, so far!

Other than some extreme animal cruelty, I'm still having a great time. All of these people are despicable.

I feel like I've been reading this for a month. OH WAIT. I HAVE. I'm really struggling with this one. I may be the problem because this is getting good reviews. Hopefully, things will start to pick up soon!

Wow. They are very, very horny.

"Reed felt like a piece he hadn't known was missing fall into place." Our golden retriever MMC just found out he has sisters, which is sweet but I did roll my eyes.

Again ... A LOT of wide open door here. I have to be careful not to listen to this around anyone else. Or even in the car. 🤣😳🤣

I should say that I choose this one for:
1. Plus size FMC
2. Autistic MC
3. Bookstore drama

It's delivering!

I requested this ALC for something light for a minute. 10% in and WHOAH - If you like spicy, you'll get spicy. It's vanilla but it's descriptive. 🫣🫢

There has not been one single weak moment. What a STELLAR debut. High hopes for the next 40%!

Re-reading a favorite for a reading challenge. It's been 5 years and I can't remember the twist, so why not. Plus Richard Armitage is one of the narrators and I'd listen to him read anything.

No big twists yet but it's definitely entertaining.

Not gonna lie: this is better than I expected. As a matter of fact it's good. We'll see how the action pans out.

I almost DNFd but hung in there until 60% when things FINALLY picked up a bit. I think the last 25% should be much quicker.

I just love Delilah S. Dawson's writing and the setup is good so far.

This is good. Yay!

I'm on the verge of DNF, so things better start happening soon. The writing is gorgeous. The plot is sloooooow.

Beautiful writing. Lots of draaaaaamaaaa.

This book is like a speeding train that is going to wreck any moment. You can't take your eyes off it, even though the FMC is totally whack-a-doo. And now, FINALLY, a twist!

I love Janet. She’s definitely a weird girl, but I am finding her easy to relate to

As usual with Jennifer Hillier, this is flying by.

I did the first 80% in one listen and the only reason I stopped is because it was LATE.

Wellll I guessed the first twist. This is a 3 star at the moment. I'm hoping for some surprises!

I love Rachel Harrison. Her characters act like I would. Freaked, but funny.

I'm remembering why I was a serious SK fan in the past. I'm liking it.

So scary. Beats out Silent Companions for scare factor!

I really need to go to sleep but I don't want to put this down either. Yup. It's good.
