This book is starting really slow and that combined with me going into a slow reading arc feels like im gonna end this by next year. But i think its really going to improve, i have hope. Its not the first book of this author i read and the two i have read have been amazing and this is his most famous one.

Even if this book is really short it has really taken me time to really get into it. Most of the start of it is just describing the setting without not too much happening so it felt that the story wasn't moving forward but now i feel im getting used to this old style.
With the introduction of Carmilla the narrator wich is also the MC has become more alive and energetic. The story has become way more interesting.

Back into reading again, after taking a bit of a break.

The rock climbing part was a bit bizarre but the part in the island was kino.

This book it's making me fly by through the pages holy hell. I have to say that I bought it randomly in a fair because i found the synopsis a bit amusing. No recommendations and i didn't even knew the author. I was expecting something more lame but it's a really pleasant surprise.
And I don't think I have arrived yet to the "best part"

Now is taking speed, it's getting good

What i don't like so far is that the author likes to have useless descriptions about things that aren't important. I guess is just a way to improve the immersion in the book
