I feel like the author has some ideas in this book that could have done really well. There's just a lot of background story (or explination) that gets left out.

9 hours in (60%) and there's the scene that's making everyone say it's "spicy". I was worried to listen to my audio book too loudly for that? Honestly it's nothing to worry about and isn't a big part of the story. There are a few points where I am confused and things don't make sense. Who in the right mind would take in the person responsible for killing and skinning their friend and treat them AND THE FAMILY well?

So far, I'm not sure why everyone says this is a "spicy" book. It's like YA fiction but with sexual tension. So far, all that has happened is a kiss. It feels like it's taking forever to get through this book (not just because it's long).

This book is so long because it's intentionally written that way. It's such a slow read, things happen slowly and not a whole lot is interesting so far. I've been listening to the audio book while driving ( 1.7 playback speed) and it seems like only 1 semi interesting thing will happen within the hour of me driving.

Your socks need to rest?! They're literally just socks... they aren't alive. I feel like this tidying is very extreme.

"Folding your clothes is transferring energy to them."
If I fold everything what is the point of having a closet to hang things? I'm not following...

I think she is saying to do one giant "Tidy" of your entire home. Literally everything all at once by category. Don't put anything away until after you've discarded everything you are planning on discarding. Step number one: Ask yourself what kind of life you want to live? Then ask yourself why. Continue to ask yourself why after every answer about 5 times. Then you can start with the "spark joy" for your items.

Oh my god, what is going on?! This book is insane and I should have gone to bed hours ago. I literally can't stop now.
