genuinely .. japanese books about bookshops, coffee shops, and libraries constantly remind me why i do what i do and why i want to be doing what i’m doing. i love books. i love literature. i love the people who make books.

idk what it is about japanese literature, but anytime i’m in a reading funk i pick one up and it immediately raises my spirits. i feel like they all speak to me in ways that see me for who i am.
