Interesting. Feels like a bridge to get further in the story. My favorite parts so far are the conscript call up/mobilization parts! Those have me hooked!

Enjoying but also…. The main character’s views hit a little different now that I have more age/life experience on me. This one more than Forever War feels a bit more propaganda-ey so dar. But interesting enough writing/story to continue on for now.

Always meant to read this so giving it a go! I love everything I’ve read from JH so far.

I’m as confused as the ones being hunting as to why folks want them dead, but I’m enjoying the story.

Grendel really is the best and the fact that its creator allowed other creators to write stories and explore the concept created such a rewarding experience for the fans.
