Wow. This makes the movie look like child’s play. How does someone even write this?

I love how the “Hey Paul” scene is almost word for word the exact same in the movie. This book is still one of the hardest and most graphic I’ve ever read. The movie is actually *less* graphic and almost campy sometimes in comparison. Do not read while eating. 🤢

Jane keeps getting on my nerves and treating Anne Boleyn like crap. Yet I can’t stop reading this. It’s like reading about Peter Parker from the perspective of Doc Ock.

Not my usual fare but I love the old Hollywood setting.

Overall I like this, and the biopic/interview format works for me. But Daisy has Mary Sue tendencies and the lyrics to some of these songs are just cringetastic.

Oh my god. “My hero”?! Are you serious Joanna? Taylor did absolutely nothing but lay on the floor and cower while Eddie did all the work. How hard is it to find a well written woman in an UF novel?

Alan Moore could sue for copyright infringement. ;) Replace “Taylor” with “Constantine” and nothing about this story would change. But why is Taylor such a big chicken?

I’m wondering what “girl” was killed with pills by this Balthazar. My guess is Kit or Rachel. Doubt it was Astra, especially not in this continuity.

Honestly, I love Felix but I absolutely cannot take seriously a guy who uses a *flute* to do an exorcism. 😬
