Wow. I'm blown away by the "now" storyline and how completely real it is. Having gone through exactly this (well, minus a few details), it's amazingly accurate. I've said, felt, experienced and cried all of those emotions. Great so far!!!!

Ugh. magical realism. not my fav.

this is the longest 384 page book I've ever read! very slow going.

DNF'd at 40%. I wasn't feeling it. I wasn't feeling the love interest and main characters. Wished I would have loved it more.

I get frustrated at Goodreads ratings. you never know if the book is lousy or if there is some weird bandwagon everyone has jumped onto and writes a book down because of it.

for this book so far I'm really enjoying it. I have my theories and my endgame ship. I'm going to need Sara to go there though on this end game theory. ;)

Whoa CoHo. That. that was intense. Geez. I'm going to need to walk away for a few hours, regroup with some wine and come back to finish the rest tonight. Bravo.

addicting and very very good. I really hope this is a series because there's so much potential here!!!!!!!

Lots of world building so far with not much action... yet. hopefully that's a sign of a strong fantasy novel!

At this point, she's a bored teenager with a working mom that has a boyfriend. she hasn't even tried to tell her mom that she's friends/more/babysitting the neighbors.

loving this book. perfect little ya read. reminding me a lot of The Winners Curse and The Remnant Chronicles trilogies. both of which are amazing. so all of the snowflakes reviewing this book and giving it poor ratings, grow up. get a job. and shut up.

Enjoying this companion novel
