Loving this so far please don't let me down Ian McEwan

Reading this book, set to a calendar, year for 2025. We'll see what (cliched? toxic? dated? wholesome?) 90's wisdom is bestowed upon me.

I need to know what the hell is going on

Just now learning that this audiobook is narrated by Meryl fucking Streep. Putting this physical copy down until my hold is available for Meryl, then I'll begin again. I haven't really latched onto this one yet, so I'm hoping her artistic narration and general godliness will fix that.
