Really like this! I especially like the excerpts from the pilots and engineers that really worked on the different projects. I am very very interested in the what the Army general saw when he went to the Navy side of the building. He was slack jawed and had to be read into an even more classified project than the stealth program; which was top secret! And Ben Rich is careful to only mention in passing!

Written pretty well so far. Nothing too crazy, but I like the introduction to the world that's happening right now. Describing how the magic kinda works and presenting the wider world and what roles people fulfill.

I'm really enjoying this book! I would have expected the writing to be way worse, considering it's a video game book. But Nylund really brings life to each character. The settings he paints are well done and immersive. Honestly impressed. (This is my second time reading this book)

Going alright. Sometimes there are references to events and people in the past that seem like I should've known before reading. Though they haven't been super important right now, I feel like it'd add some context to the current situation. This being the first book, I'm sure it'll be okay though.

Going good. Interested in seeing where it goes from here since the original goal of finding earth was brought up. But also the 2 other survivors bring an interesting dynamic to the decisions being made in the plot which I like a lot.
