How did this book get published? Its terrible. The characters have little to no development. Her mom's violent and horrific death came out of nowhere. Blake going catatonic upon seeing his friend as a biter - makes no sense.

The descriptive language is laughable. I think the book could be 25% shorter if she left out so many redundant adjectives.
