I liked the marriage short story. Even though it was sad.

This brings up a lot of childhood memories. Not good ones.

It also annoys me that people whose pet died and they just replace it like some commodity.
There’s no closure or grieving. It’s just another pet to occupy space and yell at for whining when it doesn’t get the attention it deserves and needs.

Ben’s mother kills herself but it is stated earlier that she paid the house off with the life insurance. I’m pretty fucking sure you don’t collect life insurance when you kill yourself.
I hate this book. I hate that this was gifted to me.

It just keeps getting worse. The characters, the plot, the dialogue, everything.

This book has to be rage bait. It’s awful. Who likes this author. It’s a red flag.

This book gets worse the more you read it.

It’s terrible. It’s cringey so I guess she got that immaturity part down. But even for a book this reads awful. The characters are dull. The woman is an idiot and the guy is a piece of shit.
