I got this collection cuz of A Short Stay in Hell, but another story was part of the basis for another book I read.

Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius made The Rings of Saturn make more sense.

Combray gripped me immediately and I read it in one sitting, but Swann in Love is such a slog. I was worried I wouldn't feel like bothering with the rest of the novel. Looked up a little about later parts and it seems the rest of it is like Combray.
