i forgot to add my reading progress yesterday!! anyway i spent a lot longer this morning reading than intended. this is an absolutely beautiful book, so sensitively and honestly written - i don’t think ive ever read anything which captures the feeling of being seventeen and much too in love this intensely.

This book has started so beautifully. Aciman’s writing is enchanting and atmospheric, and his characters are written so sensitively. I want to read more but have to study for a while first. :’)

reading this book has been an inspiring, confidence-building and transformative experience for me so far. i think i’ll have to make this my first review on goodreads as soon as ive finished reading. :)

absolutely loving this book so far. i am a genderqueer, transmasculine person, so for me, there’s something both comforting and inspiring about discovering so many unique trans experiences. i feel simultaneously less alone and more confident to find my own, unique path to self expression and acceptance as i read.
