This book needed a really good editor. I suspect the author self-edited the book and it shows.

Starts a little slow, like most of the author's books in this series. And like the other books, once it gets going it's going well.

It's been several years since I read this book and I forgot how large it is.

I set aside epic fantasy for a while as I was a bit burnt out with The Wheel of Time and Game of Thrones. This author has always been one of my fav in this genre. I passed many a pleasant hour on deployments reading his books.

For a book that sounded as if it might be boring as f#@k, this has been an interesting and somewhat funny book. My awesome wife picked this up at the local library in paperback, but I got it in Kindle format.

This sounded funny. I love the sarcasm and the self-depreciating humor.

I really, really like these Gray Man books. The Netflix movie adaptation of the first book was pretty good as well. In this one, the Gray Man is working his way across Eastern Europe with a goal of getting into Russia. Since the Gray Man's Russian is fairly awful (according to his Russian lover) it will be interesting to see how he tackles the language barrier.

I've loved books about sharks ever since as a kid my paternal uncle gave me a copy of Jaws. Later in life, I found the Meg series by Steve Alten which I also enjoyed (the movies are OK). Thankfully, my awesome local library had a copy of this e-book.
