I cannot get into this book, there’s too many other good books out right now so I’m going to try this one again later.

Why does this book feel so similar to Serpent of Wings and Night?

I really thought I would DNF this book. The dialogue started off cringe and the first half of her saying she was going to remain professional yet flirting with him and making sexual innuendos every time they spoke got to be a little old. It wasn’t my favorite read but was a nice simple break from the larger series.
